Sewing, Sewing, and More Sewing!!

I was hired to Design and Decorate The Idaho Oral Surgery in Fruitland, Idaho. Dr. Hillam's New Office. I make my own custom drapes and cornices. For the last two weeks I have been finishing up sewing drapes and valances, making fabric cornices, and making a huge foral arrangment (I post a picture soon). We then went over last week and installed all the drapes. Dr. Hillam will be hiring a professional photographer to come in and take pictures of the office. Once it's all up on his website, I will give you the link to check it out. I designed 12 rooms in his office and we did a Tuscan theme with a bit of a twist. All the surgical rooms and consult rooms are very different and vibrant and there is a Theater Room off of the waiting room, I can't wait to show you. It really looks great (I know I am bias)...So, now I will be sewing away again for my house. Makenna's fabrics were some much fun to pick out. I haven't even had time to put my own home in my design program. I need to get it done soon.

Sketching out our Exterior of our home - It should get done this week!

I decided to sit down today and sketch out exactly what I want my house to look like since the masonry is going to be done this week. I just want to make sure that they know exactly what we want. This might give you an idea of what I usually do, I tried putting it into my design program, but I couldn't mix and match the brick and stucco. It's time for the software company to update their programs.

I just want wish Brianna and Karl a life full of happiness. Brianna has been such a wonderful friend to me. We met at Utah State and were the only two girls to pledge Chi Omega during Formal Rush. We have always been close ever since. She is an amazing person and I am so happy to see her have her happy beginning.
